Kerrigan Mechanical is proud to announce the company has recently become Safe T Cert Certified.

Safe-T-Cert is a certification scheme designed for certifying the Safety Management Systems of contractors working in the construction industry.
The Scheme’s objective is to improve health and safety management by providing objective standards and certifying those contractors whose safety management systems have been assessed and qualify.

Health and Safety of our employees both on and offsite has always been at the heart of Kerrigan Mechanical – and a factor accessed on an ongoing basis.
As Kerrigan Mechanical has grown over the last 12-18 months, the need for a Safety Management System became paramount, and was a huge focus within the company.

Key Benefits include, to name but a few:

• ISO:9001 quality accredited.
• Meets safety criteria set down by Department of Finance for public procurement purposes in Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.
• Included under the Competence of Contractor criteria in the HSA guidelines to the Construction Regulations.
• Based on International Labour Office guidelines on Occupational Safety and Health Management Systems (ILO-OSH2001).

Time, effort and dedication from the team allowed Kerrigan Mechanical to get such a system in place and maintain that system – allowing us to pass our audit on November 10th, 2017.
